Just about everyone here is a Discord scrub, but everyone runs it differently it seems so the point is what do you run?

I dont run discord. It sucks that I have to call targets. I prefer sabway coz i can charge into a mob and afk and win.

Is that the new FOTM or has been there for a while?

two mm's/condition spreader hybrids and one healer. and me playing discord too, though most of the time im not actually playing, im just telling my heroes where to go.

This summarizes my GW experience. I charge into a mob, throw splinter on my Melee henchmen, and alt-tab to MSN for 30-45 seconds.

One minonbomber with Vile Miasma, Foul Feast and Plague Sending. Two N/Rt's specced for healing, one brings Rejuvenation and Life to make sure there's spirits around for spells like Ghostmirror and Spirit Light.

Often I switch out one of the necro-healers for Gwen, with VoR, P-lock, P-drain, CoF, Empathy, Complicate, and Shatter Hex. Then it's no longer Discordway, of course, but it works.

Not really, discordway actually doesnt care about player's prim much.

Tho, imo Discordway is still ugly, I run Sabway better.

I never call targets with discordway, yet my hero/hench always focus fire on the target I'm attacking. All I do is c space then 1 2 3 and my heroes all focus fire on what I am targeting.

Also, even a warrior can run an assassin's promise bar. Just get a high energy staff and minimize your casts. AP, ymlad and bam conditional requirements is made. All while you still gain 2 or so energy depending on deadly arts rank.

I like both but usually go with Discordway when VQing in HM to purposely call targets and make sure to drop those healers first who have heal overkill in HM.

Thing I like both like and dislike about discordway is that out of 24 slots you must fill only five and everything else is a sandbox. It is both ossumly imba and awfuly ugly imo. /discuss.

Discordway is complex because it depends on the area and the player I bring. It also depends on 6-heroes or 3-heroes. I never ever use a single build for all characters.

For Dervish, I try to bring short duration enchantments for life and energy. For Paragon, I try to bring at least a hex removal and more hex removal in hex heavy areas. I also try to bring splinter weapon when I am with physical characters.

dude why you brng encrosis+discord
its a waste
just take necrosis, because there is a 0.75 sec after cast delay ANYWAY :P
so even if you bring necrosis+discord you can use either of them every 1.75 sec not every 1 sec

This Could be true, and i've been thinking about changing it. But most of the time 1 is recharging when i cast the other. Think ill test it sometime with another Elite, Maybe IV.

To be honest i never have to few hexes/conditions. AoE weakness/Cracked Armor/suffering, most of the times do the job, mobs are stupid and ball up. Barbs just to add some damage and hex. Also i add a mesmer hexer hench for some more hexes, and change dps on the mm with a spammable hex (parasitic bond). But it could use some more hexes, thats true.
Haven't thought about Dwayna's Sorrow, think ill give it a try.

One of the things i miss the most in this setup is splinter weapon, but most of the time a second discord team will cope with that.

IV deals crap damage in HM. its already low cold damage becomes much less with higher mob AL so keep discord, I laos think that spamming discord and necrosis in a chain is very sexy. Also, get a think about ap+ymlad+fh! really nice with d-way too.

Haven't thought about Dwayna's Sorrow, think ill give it a try.

I think that you definetely need to add death nova on your MM because otherwise having bone minions is useless. Just to give you an idea too, weaken armor and enfeebling blood can be used on really low spec so you can basically free two extra slots on the human bar if you wish.

You dont need splinter with discordway, minions aint your main damage source unlike with sabway.

Well i hope you can only VQ in HM...

But im like other people. Sabway or some variant of sabway (like Rt/N MM instead of N/Mo MM, SS in for something else, etc)

Its quick, easy and good for when your afking or somthing every once and a while
